We're currently looking for volunteers for several upcoming events! For more info please go to the link Events!
We need all kinds of volunteers!
Horse Groomers: clean and groom horses, put tack on horses (saddle, bridle, etc) and remove tack
Side Walkers: there are usually two side walkers. They walk beside the hip of the rider and assist in the lesson. This may involve verbal repetition of the instructor's direction, and physical assistance. Side walkers are also trained how to perform an emergency dismount if the rider has problems.
Horse Leaders: the leader is in charge of guiding the horse around the ring. In the case of adept riders, the leader walks beside the head of the horse as a safety precaution, but allows the rider to perform all the steering of the horse.
Office Volunteers: file and/or assist with office work
Event Volunteers: plan and help at our annual Country Carnival, or local horse shows (for dates and locations please go to the link Events)
Social Media Assistants: take pictures for our Facebook and Instagram pages.
